Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Sustainability & Futures Innovation (JSFI) upholds strict standards against plagiarism and academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity using Turnitin before the peer review process.
To ensure academic integrity, the following criteria are applied:
-
The maximum overall similarity index allowed is 20%.
-
The similarity from a single source must not exceed 2%.
-
Proper citation and referencing are mandatory for all quoted, paraphrased, or adapted materials.
Manuscripts exceeding the similarity thresholds will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected outright. Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their work is original, appropriately referenced, and free from plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or duplicate publication.
By enforcing this policy, JSFI is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and safeguarding the originality and credibility of scholarly publishing.
