Peer Review Process

The Journal of Sustainability & Futures Innovation (JSFI) applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published works. Both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process to maintain objectivity and fairness.

  1. Initial Screening

    • All submitted manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team to ensure they meet the journal’s scope, focus, and formatting requirements.

    • Manuscripts failing to meet basic criteria may be returned to authors without external review.

  2. Peer Review

    • Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.

    • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, significance, clarity, and contribution to the field of sustainability and innovation.

  3. Review Outcomes

    • After receiving reviewers’ reports, the editor makes a decision to:

      • Accept the manuscript as it is,

      • Request minor or major revisions,

      • Reject the manuscript.

    • Authors are informed of the decision along with constructive feedback to improve their work.

  4. Revision and Resubmission

    • Authors asked to revise must respond to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified timeframe.

    • Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers before a final decision is made.

  5. Final Decision

    • The final decision on publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account reviewers’ recommendations and overall quality standards.

JSFI is committed to a fair, transparent, and timely review process, ensuring that all published articles uphold the highest academic and ethical standards.
