Peer Review Process
The Journal of Sustainability & Futures Innovation (JSFI) applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published works. Both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process to maintain objectivity and fairness.
-
Initial Screening
-
All submitted manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team to ensure they meet the journal’s scope, focus, and formatting requirements.
-
Manuscripts failing to meet basic criteria may be returned to authors without external review.
-
-
Peer Review
-
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.
-
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, significance, clarity, and contribution to the field of sustainability and innovation.
-
-
Review Outcomes
-
After receiving reviewers’ reports, the editor makes a decision to:
-
Accept the manuscript as it is,
-
Request minor or major revisions,
-
Reject the manuscript.
-
-
Authors are informed of the decision along with constructive feedback to improve their work.
-
-
Revision and Resubmission
-
Authors asked to revise must respond to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified timeframe.
-
Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers before a final decision is made.
-
-
Final Decision
-
The final decision on publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account reviewers’ recommendations and overall quality standards.
-
JSFI is committed to a fair, transparent, and timely review process, ensuring that all published articles uphold the highest academic and ethical standards.
